# Receivables & Trade Finance

> Invoice chains that mostly cancel clear by settlement date, and the working capital parked against them comes back. Coming soon.

<Note>
  **Coming soon.** Receivables & Trade Finance opens to design partners first. Lane: **Future**. Paths, schemas, and parameters publish at launch.
</Note>

* **Money owed in circles** - 30, 60, 90 days out: a supplier waits on a manufacturer, who waits on a distributor, who is owed by the supplier for logistics.
* **Working capital parked** - each invoice is paid in full on its own date, against invoices that would largely cancel.
* **Double financing** - the same invoice can be financed twice by lenders who never see each other.

## What Changes for You

* **The circle clears by settlement date.** Dated obligations clear together in the run before they fall due instead of wiring every leg, and the working capital parked against invoices that would have cancelled comes back.
* **Nothing enters without the debtor.** A claim joins the graph only once its debtor approves it, line by line; an unapproved claim simply expires. No book is ever loaded with debts nobody agreed to.
* **One invoice, one obligation.** An obligation can anchor the hash of its originating document, so the same invoice can't back two live obligations in the same asset and chain.
* **Your counterparties, unchanged.** Nothing is novated: each invoice stays between the two parties who signed it, on its own terms and its own date.

## A Day of Flow

Three companies, invoices due the same week, USDC on Base:

* The Manufacturer owes the Supplier **90** - components, 60 days
* The Distributor owes the Manufacturer **120** - finished goods, 30 days
* The Supplier owes the Distributor **40** - logistics, 90 days

Gross, that is 250 USDC across three invoices. Netted, the loop of 40 cancels, and the rest settles along the original invoices: the Distributor pays the Manufacturer 80, the Manufacturer pays the Supplier 50. **130 moves instead of 250.**

## How It Enters

Invoices enter as **claims the debtor approves**: you submit a batch, each debtor approves its own lines; from there it is the standard [integration](/netting-api/integration#submit-obligations).
